The University of Arizona Cancer Center is an internationally recognized leader in the study and treatment of the lymphomas. Collaborative research performed by Center investigators over the last 30 years has been critical in advancing the standard of care for patients with lymphoma.
The mission of the Lymphoma Initiative at the University of Arizona Cancer Center is to find a cure for Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The Univeresity of Arizona Cancer Center is an internationally recognized leader in the study and treatment of lymphomas. In 2008, the Arizona Cancer Center lymphoma group competed successfully for a Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) grant in lymphomas, in partnership with the University of Rochester.
The University of Arizona Cancer Center coordinates the largest lymphoma tissue bank in the world with over 10,000 specimens, and with support from the NIH/NCI and Ventana Medical Systems.
