Director of Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center
Dr. Nguyen is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive urologic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of urologic diseases using the latest laparoscopic and robotic approaches. He holds the title of Director of Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.
His clinical focus involves the treatment of kidney cancer using robotic nephron-sparing partial nephrectomy and cryoablation; prostate cancer with da Vinci robotic surgery; and the management of kidney stones and other benign diseases with both surgery and medical treatment.
As a researcher, he is NIH funded and conducts research in several areas including prostate cancer prevention, kidney cancer evaluation, and behavioral approaches to the prevention of stone disease.
