Lynn Hamilton is the Operational Director for the Arizona Diet, Behavior, and Quality of Life Assessment Lab at the Arizona Cancer Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Jose State University and a Master of Arts in Communications from Northern Illinois University. With extensive experience in research management she has provided oversight and direction on social science and behavioral research projects for nearly 20 years. She has expertise in research design, data collection, measurement, survey research, quality control procedures, and the interpretation/analysis of research data. Her research emphasis includes health communications and the study of risk behaviors. Ms. Hamilton has worked at several renowned institutions of social/behavioral science research such as the University of Illinois (Survey Research Lab), University of Chicago (National Center for Public Opinion Research) and the University of North Carolina (Odum Institute for Research in the Social Sciences) prior to joining the staff at the University of Arizona.
