Short Bio: 

Mr. Cromey manages the UACC Cancer Imaging Shared Service's confocal facility, as well as the SWEHSC's Cellular Imaging Facility Core, the ARL confocal microscope facility in LSN, and the Histology Service Lab located in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine.

Summary of Research Activity: 

Mr. Cromey has over 33 years of hands-on experience in microscopy. He has worked at the AHSC for 30 years, starting in the Dept. of Pathology doing research and clinical electron microscopy.  He has been in the Dept of Cellular & Molecular Medicine since 1994.  He has extensive experience in light and confocal microscopy, as well as image analysis.

Mr. Cromey has a published and spoken at national meetings on guidelines for the ethical manipulation of scientific digital images.
