Short Bio:
Brenda Wittman, MD, joined The University of Arizona College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and University Physicians Healthcare in August of 2005. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Co-chairs the Human Subjects Protection Program IRB4.
As a pediatric oncologist, Dr. Wittman provides care for children with cancer and other blood diseases at Diamond Children’s at the University Medical Center, the Hematology/Oncology/BMT Clinic, an outpatient clinic housed within UMC, the Children's Multispecialty Hemophilia Clinic located on Wilmot Road and the Square and Compass Children's Sickle Cell Clinic located on North Wyatt Drive.
Dr. Wittman received her MD and Masters of Public Health at the University of Rochester in New York, and completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Golisano Children’s Hospital, Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Wittman also volunteers as medical staff for Camp HONOR (Arizona Hemophilia Association) and Camp HUG (Cascade Foundation of Southern Arizona).
