Bennet E. Davis, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He did his undergraduate work at Stanford University and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, then trained in Orthopedic Surgery and Anesthesiology at the University of New Mexico and University of California, Irvine. He did his fellowship year in Manchester, England after finishing residency training. He was recruited to run the University of Arizona Pain Institute from 1995 to 2002. As an Associate Professor at the UA in Tucson, he was also the Pain Fellowship director, where he supervised the training of 8 new pain specialists between 1996 and 2002. He is currently in full time clinical practice at the multidisciplinary Integrative Pain Center of Arizona, where he cares for the full spectrum of painful illnesses, including cancer related pain and remains active in teaching medical residents and pharmacy students and in clinical research.
