Cancer can turn your world upside down. The Supportive Care for Healing services at The University of Arizona Cancer Center are here to help you regain your balance.

Supportive Care for Healing services address the whole person by focusing on the health and life of a person with cancer, as well as that of their loved ones. These services include, help in the ability to get health care and follow-up treatment, support in coping with second cancers and late effects of treatment and various programs and events geared toward improving quality of life.

Our multidisciplinary team includes family physicians, psychiatrists, palliative care physicians, survivorship specialists, oncology nurse coordinators, oncology social workers, a nutritionist and a genetic counselor. We also have a patient navigator and advocate to assist with needs related to transportation, housing and finances.

To make sure our patients feel comfortable with their treatment plans, every patient attends a chemotherapy or radiation therapy class before their treatment begins. We also offer many support groups as well as comprehensive healing groups, such as The Eye of the Hurricane and The Seven Levels of Healing. We also offer a range of touch therapies and movement classes for patients and their loved ones.

We provide a map for the whole experience of coping with cancer. Support services at The University of Arizona Cancer Center are abundant and easily accessible. Please explore this section to learn more about the opportunities available to you.
