¡VIDA! The Sixth Annual Mujer Latina Breast Cancer Conference, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., is a collaborative community effort that will offer bilingual Spanish/English information for breast cancer survivors and all Latinas interested in learning about breast health and breast cancer.
The program will include information on early cancer screening, risk factors, managing pain and survivorship.
The conference was initiated by Ana Maria Lopez, MD, MPH, associate dean of outreach and multicultural affairs and professor of medicine and pathology at the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
For the sixth year, El Pueblo Senior Center, 101 W. Irvington Rd., is hosting the conference.

The conference is supported by the Southern Arizona Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
