¡VIDA! The Annual Mujer Latina Breast Cancer Conference, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18th is a collaborative community effort that will offer bilingual Spanish/English information for breast cancer survivors and all Latinas interested in learning about breast health and breast cancer.
The program this year will include the Affordable Care Act, adolescent health, nutrition and wellness, patient assistance and navigation, and cancer treatment and survivorship.
The conference is initiated by Ana Maria Lopez, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Pathology, and Medical Director of the Arizona Telemedicine Program at the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
The event will take place at the Abrams building, located at the University of Arizona's South Campus at 3950 S. Country Club Blvd. (South of Tucson Electric Park).
