The 10th Annual Sydney E. Salmon, MD, Award Lectures will be held Tuesday, May 8 at 2 p.m. in Kiewit Auditorium at The University of Arizona Cancer Center.
M. Peter Lance, MD, FRCP, will deliver the Distinguished Senior Investigator Award lecture: “Designing the Right Cancer Prevention Trial: A Story Without End."
Steven P. Stratton, PhD, will deliver the Distinguished Junior Investigator Award lecture: “Drug Development in Cancer Prevention: Making Something Happen to Ensure Nothing Happens.”
The Sydney E. Salmon, MD, Awards recognize UA Cancer Center faculty members for their leadership in cancer research, grant support, publications, community service and clinical responsibilities. They were established to honor and remember Dr. Salmon, the Cancer Center’s founding director, and are presented annually as close as possible to his May 8 birthday.
