David S. Alberts, MD, director of the Arizona Cancer Center, will participate in the American Society of Preventive Oncology annual meeting in Las Vegas March 5 to 8.
The meeting will focus on "Cancer Prevention and Control Across the Lifecourse," and will honor the 40th anniversary of the signing of the National Cancer Act.
Dr. Alberts will participate in a discussion March 8 on using molecular and/or genetic markets to impact personalized medicine and prevention, speaking on "Cellular and Molecular Biology Leading to Personalized Chemoprevention in the Skin."
The American Society of Preventive Oncology (ASPO) is a multi-disciplinary society which, through a variety of professional education activities which take place surrounding its annual meeting, is primarily committed to serving as an advocate for cancer prevention and control research.
