Plan to attend an informative presentation on the needs of family and friends caring for cancer patients Wednesday, Feb. 2 at noon at Kiewit Auditorium, Arizona Cancer Center.
Catherine Marshall, PhD, an Arizona Cancer Center member and research professor at the University of Arizona’s Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences, will lead a discussion to help co-survivors thrive as they care for their loved one. Dr. Marshall is the editor of “Surviving Cancer as a Family and Helping Co-Survivors Thrive.”
Panelists include Rebecca Paradies, MA; Joyce DeVoss, PhD; Amy Blackburn, RN, BSN, MA; and Lorena Verdugo.
Free parking is available at the UMC “Catalina” garage, at the southeast corner of East Grant Road and North Campbell Avenue (adjacent to the old Catalina Theater), and a shuttle will take you to the Arizona Cancer Center.
