Using the diagnostic system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture uses extremely thin, sterile needles and other techniques to access Qi (‘energy’, pronounced ‘chee’) through a network of meridians or energy pathways in the body. The goal is to bring excess and deficiency into a state of balance, supporting a strengthened immune system.
