Short Bio: 

Dr. López is professor of medicine and pathology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She serves as medical director of the Arizona Telemedicine Program and associate dean for outreach and multi-cultural affairs, College of Medicine.

Dr. López received her medical education from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowships in general internal medicine and medical oncology at the University of Arizona. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Arizona College of Public Health.

Dr. López is the principal investigator of several breast and ovarian cancer clinical trials focused on quality of life care and innovative treatments.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
