Leigh A. Neumayer, MD, MS

Leigh A. Neumayer, MD, MS has been named head of the University of Arizona College of Medicine's Department of Surgery and the UA Cancer Center's Margaret E. and Fenton L. Maynard Endowed Chair in Breast Cancer Research.

The final beam at the Univerity of Arizona Cancer Center- Phoenix was set atop the building Tuesday, another milestone toward a Summer 2015 opening.

Dr. Lisa Rimsza, a pathologist and lymphoma researcher, is the 2014 Sydney E. Salmon, MD, Distinguished Investigator award winner. She will be honored May 8.

 

A planned estate gift to the University of Arizona will name The Tim and Diane Bowden Cancer Biology Graduate Interdisciplinary Program at the UA Cancer Center, and support Parkinson’s disease research being conducted by Associate Professor Scott J.
