A Celebration of Life: Peter D. Baird
Peter D. Baird, a Phoenix attorney and former Arizona Cancer Center board member and chair, has died of leukemia. Peter is remembered by his friends at the Cancer Center as a devoted fundraiser for cancer research and fun-loving showman who lived his life with joy.
Meet our new Hematology/Oncology section chief
Michael A. Bookman, MD, has joined the Arizona Cancer Center as chief of the Hematology/Oncology section. He has been appointed professor of medicine at the University of Arizona and will head the Department of Medicine’s Hematology/Oncology section.
