DOD award helps advance detection of bombs, breast cancer

A Cancer Center researcher is on a UA engineering team combining the advantages of high-contrast microwave imaging being developed for breast cancer detection with high-resolution ultrasound imaging to detect improvised explosive devices, also known as IEDs.
