Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Training Program

Thank you for your interest in the Subspecialty Training program in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Arizona Cancer Center. We accepted our first fellow trainees in 1974 and as of July 2009, more than 90 fellows have completed their training and are pursuing careers in academic medicine as well as in clinical practice. We believe that we have an outstanding training experience and we are proud of our graduates and their accomplishments.

The Hematology and Medical Oncology Subspecialty Training Program at the University of Arizona/Arizona Cancer Center participates in the ABIM subspecialty training program Match and we also use the ERAS central application mechanism. We are currently recruiting for two positions for training to commence in July 2011. Applications will be accepted as of December 2009 and we will continue to select applicants through April of 2010. Only selected candidates will be invited to interview. In general interviews are accomplished for the invited candidates during January through April of each recruiting period. Applications will be reviewed for the selection of individuals to be interviewed only when all parts of the application have been received by ERAS.
